The International Security Observer has a new website to celebrate its 3 years of activity.
Since late September 2011, ISO has been working on creating a worldwide community of young security experts willing to share their visions on some of the hottest issues in international affairs. Over the past years, we published articles from more than 50 contributors from 25 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle-East and Oceania.
Nevertheless, our mission is far from being accomplished. In the years to come, we plan on establishing ISO as a no-profit organisation helping prominent young professionals in security affairs to emerge.
Our vision is to become a reference point for every student and young professional wanting to become a security expert in his/her future career, as well as for public and private sector wanting to hire top of the class interns and junior professionals.
Our mission is to fill the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience by providing young professionals in security affairs with the multi-tasking skills and network required in today’s job market.
Our strategy is to create the link between young professionals and the public and private sector. For this purpose, we plan on running training activities in scenario and trend analysis, open source intelligence, strategic communication and in the use of related software.
Our long journey has just begun, and we hope to keep sharing it with you.
